When you create an account we collect your name and email address. Authentication is handled by Clerk. We store a reference to your Clerk user ID in our database but do not store your password.
When you connect a YouTube channel we collect publicly available channel data via the YouTube Data API, including: channel name, handle, description, thumbnail, subscriber count, video titles, descriptions, thumbnails, tags, view counts, and video duration. We do not collect private YouTube account data or require YouTube login credentials.
We store the journal articles, edits, notes, affiliate links, and settings you create within The Fishing Journal, including any images you upload.
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full payment details. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status to manage your plan.
